An hour is a good length of time for a one-to-one session.

What's the minimum time to work with a tutor?
That really depends on what your aim is.
To be able to cope with normal holiday situations, I would suggest 20 weeks, with a 2 hour lesson each week.

How long does it take to learn a language?

Do I need to know any grammar before starting?
Any age is a suitable age to learn a language. If the person is under 16, however, another adult should be present at all times.

No. I can explain any Italian grammar that you may need to be aware of as the course progresses.
How old do I have to be to have lessons?
Not for a Beginners class. I start from the basics, and do not expect any knowledge of the language at all. If you do speak a little Italian, please contact me to find out what level you should be studying.
