I have been teaching Italian for approximately 25 years. I am still as passionate about the language and country as when I started. If you are interested in learning Italian I will do my utmost to help you attain your goal. Whether you wish to be able to order a meal in a restaurant, or converse about current affairs issues - for me they are both as important as each other.

Study trips to Siena are usually in the pipeline for August and September. Students often choose to travel to Siena for either one or two weeks to attend a language school, and some choose to stay with host families to make the most of their chance to improve their language skills, and try out everything they have learned during the year.
** Update**
So exciting to say that in 2022 we are back in Siena. The whole month of June is available, and also late August into September. All restrictions for travelling to Italy have now been lifted!!
Classes in Tillicoultry
The Annex building next to the Tillicoultry Baptist Church is the venue for most classes. The building is adjacent to the bus stop on the corner of the High Street and Moss Road.

For an informal chat, and an opportunity to meet other people who are studying Italian, why not come to one of our chat times in the Annexe at Tillicoultry Baptist Church.
There is a small charge to cover the cost of the room and the drinks.
Two levels of chat available:
Monday at 10am - more advanced.
Wednesday at 1215am - open to everyone.
Enrol during first session of class in at Tillicoultry Annexe, or The Hive , Dollar
10 week course
2 hour lesson each week
maximum of 12 students in the class
Cost: £85.00 per person plus cost of text book.
Classes will be able to run at this price only if there is a minimum of 8 people.
Private Tuition available at a cost of £35 per hour.
This price is calculated per hour, so if there were two people, that would mean £17.50 per person.
Italian film director Federico Fellini once said, “A different language is a different vision of life.” Speaking the language will give you a greater understanding of the country and its culture.
